Your Yoga Teachers and Hosts

Gail Frassetta

Brenda C. Eppley
Gail began her yoga journey in 2010, taking her first class to balance out running and soccer. She practiced many styles but was particularly drawn to the challenge of Ashtanga. Gail soon realized there was so much more to learn and explore in yoga. In 2017, she traveled to India to pursue in-depth study of Hatha, Ashtanga, meditation, pranayama and yogic philosophy, earning her RYT200 and certification in Thai Yoga Stretch. The training in India created a desire to continue to learn more about yoga and the body. In 2019, Gail completed her RYT-500; in 2021, she completed an additional E-RYT-200 in Rocket Yoga, and is YACEP certified. Gail’s yoga journey continues to follow different paths. She is currently interested in functional mobility.
Experience Gail’s adventurous spirit on the mat as you explore breath and movement. She creates thoughtful flows for her classes that encourage you to explore how your body moves and invites you to explore the line between effort and ease.

Brenda was first introduced to yoga more than twenty years ago and became serious about her practice while searching for relief from chronic back pain. The yogic tools and methodology that she learned placed her on a pain-free path of unexpected fulfillment.
With and abundance of positive energy, Brenda's dedication to educating students about the many benefits of yoga motivated the creation of the "Yoga Discovery Podcast." She is passionate about bringing new practitioners to the mat while cultivating a knowledgeable awareness that enhances the experienced students evolving journey.
Teaching from an informed perspective, she believes that diving more deeply into the philosophies, traditions, and history of yoga has a transformative ability to shape our health and well-being in every respect.
When not on the mat or in the classroom (she is a college professor, MFA, BFA, and a Fulbright Scholar, South Africa), Brenda travels the world searching for adventures that will expand her understanding of our global community. She is currently a graduate student in the MA Yoga Studies program at Naropa University. RYT-500 (Himalyan Institute), E-RYT-200, YACEP. Learn more at green-tree-yoga.com

FAQs
What is not included in the cost of the retreat?
-
Great question! Your airfare and the cost to enter historical sites or museums, and anything that is not identified as part of the retreat.
What about special diets? Can they be accommodated?
-
You betcha! When you register, you will be asked about your dietary restrictions.
Does the villa have wifi?
-
It sure does and access is included.
What if I want to arrive to Greece a few days early or stay a few days longer after the retreat ends?
-
Fabulous! Have at it! Please keep in mind that you will need to make these arrangements yourself. There is so much to see and we encourage you to tap into your adventurous mindset!
I see that the villa includes a kitchen. May we use it?
-
Of course.
Can you tell me a bit more about the yoga that we will be practicing?
-
Another excellent question! Brenda and Gail recognize that there is not a one-size fits all tradition of yoga for the practitioners who attend our retreats. We use our combined depth of knowledge to carefully craft classes that appeal to the larger group. Each class will differ and serve to deepen your understanding of yoga.
Are there any additional activities that are offered?
-
Yes--water sports, horseback riding, cycling, boat trips, fishing, scuba diving....all can be arranged for an additional fee.
What if I have additional questions?
-
Please send your questions to greentreeyogaofpa@gmail.com
